My female owner told us that her friend called her to tell her that she saw a brown tortoise walking along the road today. (For a split moment in the conversation, my female owner actually wondered if the brown tortoise was me!) Her friend did not know what to do but decided to carry the tortoise to the grass as the tortoise kept trying to walk towards the road.
Oh man. Who was the thoughtless person who left my distant relative to fend for himself in unfamiliar surroundings?
