My female owner went for a random lunch with the friends she travelled with to Shanghai. Needless to say, they had some Shanghainese food. 
My female owner's eggplant friend also gave her a watch, much to her delight. It's the first watch she's got in more than 10 years! What's more, it's has an "ambiguous" clockface which my female owner likes. Hopefully my female owner would never be late, now that she has a watch.
One thing's for sure, she will look at the watch whenever she feels lonely and homesick and be comforted by the good times she had with her potato and eggplant friends and smile at such memories.
