My elder sister (also my only) asked me a really curious question yesterday. This was how the conversation went.

Nanook: Nooki baby, did you notice that male owner hasn’t been coming lately?

Me: Yes elder sister, that’s what I’ve been telling all of you!

Nanook: Really? I must have been too hungry to hear you properly. I thought you mean that male owner is ill.

Me: No no. What I said was, male owner and female owner got some problem, so maybe male owner will never come again.

Nanook: Huh? Never come again???

Me: Yes, never.

Nanook (with tears in her eyes): I miss smelling his big toe!
