The four of us came a long way with our female owner. We went through thick and thin with her. To prove this, let me quote what she wrote in her final year thesis (2003) at the acknowledgements page:

To Nana, my alpha male terrapin who died because I was too busy, the guilt still stays with me. To the rest of you, for amusing me with your cute and innocent antics."
My female owner also made mention of my male owner on this page. I wonder if he knew.
